Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED A YOGA MAT?
Yes, we encourage you to BYO yoga mat. If you do not own one you can hire a mat to use in studio for $3 per class. We also sell high quality Manduka yoga mats and entry level beginner yoga mats in studio.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
Other than your yoga mat please bring a water bottle and clean towel with you to practice. The towel is handy for heated classes and for non-heated classes the towel is used to cover bolsters when used in class. If you forget your towel, we have towels available for purchase in studio.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear clothing that is comfortable for you to move in either active wear or loose-fitting clothing. Shoes and socks are left in the storage spaces and not worn on the practice floor.
DO YOU HAVE A CHANGEROOM?
Yes, we have toilets and a changeroom available for use.
HOW DO I BOOK INTO CLASS?
We recommend you pre-book all classes online via our timetable booking link on this site. We do accept walk-in bookings if you arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to class start to allow time for our teacher to process your class pass, waiver and booking. Please note pre-bookings are prioritised so we cannot guarantee space is available for walk-ins.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?
Please arrive a minimum of 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time to allow time for you to remove shoes, store your belongings and roll your mat out in readiness for class. Classes strictly start at the scheduled class time and doors are locked for security. Late arrivals will not be admitted, and your pass will be marked as a no-show.
DO YOU HAVE CARPARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes, we have 6 marked YOGA car parks available and 10 marked VISITOR car parks. Please ensure you ONLY park in these car parks as a courtesy to our neighbouring businesses. There is also plenty of free street parking available along Metroplex Drive.
CAN MY KIDS COME TO CLASS?
Yes, a child aged 11-16yo who is able to stay focussed for a full length of a yoga class may attend a yoga class with you that is not heated and/or not Yin. You are responsible for the child at all times and the child must hold their own pass unless you hold a membership where they fall into your family account. As the accompanying adult you are required to sign the waiver on the child’s behalf. We do offer Family Yoga on the first Saturday of each month for an adult to attend with an accompanying child aged 4-13yo. A single casual pass admits both adult and child to Family yoga.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HEATED CLASS OPTIONS?
Some of our scheduled classes are heated using Far Infrared Heat panels. The FIR heat panels provide negative ionisation and anti-bacterial sterilisation to the room environment, natural dehumidification and promotion of restorative sleep from subjecting the body to these specific frequencies.
Warm classes are heated to 30 degrees Celsius and Hot classes are 37 degrees. Please ensure you are well hydrated prior to attending class.
FIR heat can support your health by relieving aches, pains, arthritis and more, improved immune system, detoxification, improved blood circulation, weight loss, skin rejuvenation, heart health and blood pressure and muscle pain relief.
SHOULD I EAT BEFORE CLASS?
We recommend that you refrain from eating a heavy meal up to 2 hours prior to class for your comfort during class.
MOBILE PHONES AND DEVICES?
Mobile phones should be turned off/silent and left in the storage spaces provided outside the practice space. If you have a wearable device please ensure it is on silent mode to not disturb other students during class.
